To start off, the manager Mr. Rohan was really friendly and very pleasant. We asked if we could have an early check in and he was more than happy to accommodate us. Once we got there, we were greeted by Mr. Rohan and he had the cook/caretaker, Raja show us the property. We had booked just the villa but he let us know that we could have the cook for all 6 days of our stay at a nominal fee. We just needed to buy the groceries. Raja was an excellent cook and super caretaker. They were happy to change the sheets/clean the rooms and bathrooms any time we requested for it. Raja also cooked for us any time we asked, be it bites, tea, coffee or main meals.. We were also offered a late check out as we had a few very tiring days. All in all, great place to stay!

“Disappointing”

The villa was spacious but dated. The washing machine was not working. The oven was not working. There was no microwave, we had to call the owner twice before he get his man to send one over in the morning. There was no hair dryer, we called the owner at midnight and he got us a very old one which caused power outage twice. Out of 4 burners, only 1 was working. The bathrooms and toilet windows face a dormitory or workers' quarters, anyone standing there can look into the bathrooms.

It was a nice stay overall. The walls had mould which was a concern. Definitely need a thorough clean. We had our washing done for free which was great. It was comfortable and staff were good.

Cozy and nice

Fantastic Fantastic resourt, big rooms, big dining, we cooked.our own food, excellent veranda, near to lake.... Though its a bit expensive but staying here is lovely.. Staff helpful and coordinal

We recently stayed at Lakeside Cottage in Nuwara Eliya for one night, and it was an exceptional experience. The cozy ambiance, breathtaking lake view, and warm hospitality made it a memorable getaway. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility.
