Shenaz is the perfect host and Kithul Cottage is a very special place! The location is beautifully set amongst the tea plantations and railway, and a stones throw from the stage 6 starting point for the Pekoe Trail. Shenaz was very attentive and provided a lot of information about the trail and area which was very helpful, including a short tour of the area around the property. The food was excellent and they were able to cater easily for a vegan diet. Shenaz was also so helpful in organising safe transfer of our luggage to our next stop along the trail. Highly recommend!

It was very nice to spend the night here. The room has a wonderful view, and Gangaa is truly kind and lovely, as well as an excellent cook!

Our hosts were spectacular. So friendly, helpful and delightful. The food was amazing. Local, homegrown, organic and plentiful. Even the coffee and tea were home grown. Large room with a beautiful view over the valley.

The warm & friendly welcome from our hosts and from the community of Watagoda. The view from our room on the second floor was spectacular, the variety of authentic & organic Sri Lankan food that Preethi made for breakfast, lunch & dinner & the location for us to complete Stages 5 & 6 of the Pekoe Trsil.

The location close to the train station and pekoe trail is perfect. The host Pretty was exceptionally nice and sweet and cooked for us and made sure we felt comfortable and happy the whole stay. It is a small family house and they make you feel prt of the family. The room view and setting is incredible

Great location at the end of the Pekoe trail stage 5. Lovely view from the room which has a very comfortable bed. Excellent communication from the owners son and delicious food served by his mother. Nothing was too much trouble.

The views from the cottage are breathtaking and the home-cooked dinner with local organic ingredients was delicious. Away from the chaos of town centre.

Good place very convenient if yiu are taking pekoe trail stage 6 from there. They made some delicious food.

The cottage itself is very spacious and nicely set up with a beautiful view over the valley. Besides the lovely cottage I think that the hosts really made this accomodation more special. The freshly made food was being served with a big smile and the hosts really made us feel very welcome. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing!

The upstairs room layout is comfortable and spacious with lovely views! The hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive. We had a vegetarian rice and curry dinner made by Preeti which was really incredible. Loved it!
