Had good fun playing pool and it was nice to have nice company :) I originally booked the budget room however was up graded due to renovations and it was the comfiest best. The area is very cold so it was nice to have a thick duvet

I had a wonderful stay at Himawari Hills Hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are well-maintained. The bathroom is spotless and modern, with everything functioning perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. One of the highlights was the balcony with a beautiful view – it was so relaxing to sit outside and take in the scenery. The hotel is conveniently located just 1.5 km from Gregory Lake, making it easy to explore the area. The staff at Himawari Hills were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Although we didn’t eat at the hotel, they do have a restaurant where they prepare food for guests. Additionally, there’s a pool table available for some extra entertainment. Overall, this is a very good hotel with reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

“A great place for the value”
A clean and comfy place to stay for your vacation. Has a beautiful surrounding. Staff was friendly and helpful, there was a problem with the shower, but they resolved it quickly. A comfortable stay for the money you pay.

A little out of town but we walked down to the lake then got a tuk tuk onto town. Tuk tuk back all the way. Bed was comfortable although cold when we were there so asked for another blanket. Breakfast was good. Host organised a tuk tuk for us to take us to the tea plantation & waterfall.

“Great stay, accomodating staff”
They organise a pick up for us at the train station as it is 9km away from the Hotel. The hotel was very nice and our beds very comfortable. Sachin the driver drove us to Horton Plains and to tea plantations and waterfalls. The chef who stays at the hotel would prepare a fire every evening and cook for us whenever we would be hungry. The place is cold at night but the fire and the many duvets on the beds were enough to keep us warm.
