The owner of the hotel took us in his car acting as a taxi driver under the influence of alcohol and we don't know if other substances... He was upset and we were three girls. We are scared. We do not recommend it.

The view from our room was exceptional. The landscape and the waterfall visible from our balcony made our stay. The room was nice and clean. We had a really hot water and a great warm blanket. The owner of the place was super welcoming and kind.

“Fake Property”

I booked this property through Agoda. After arriving to the property location in night time we were surprised to find that there was no property named "Hikkers Inn". People in the property said "Hikkers Inn" owner has leased there property for a while now and he has left after the lease period is over. Agoda has deducted full price from my credit card but they do not have verified this is a fake property. As it was a demand day in Nuwara eliya we had to book an another property for a higher price at night. Do not book this fake property through Agoda.

Location was nice with a nice view. The host speaks quite good english and offers interesting tours in Nuwara Eliya. We were picked up from the train station.

Super nice Hotel in the silent area of Nuwara eliya. Rooms are nice, clean and beds are super comfy. Breakfast and Dinner was delicous. Danu could help me with every questions. Had a super nice time.

Such a nice guest House in very nice area. We we're sitting on the balcony watching the mountains and waterfall. Beds are super cozy.Danu is such a nice host, speaking well with english. He cooked such nice dinner and we really enjoyed. Also WE did great trips for hiking and he was driving us to Ella. He was the best guide in Sri Lanka we Had. Highly recommend! Thank you for such a great time.

I stayed again here with my boyfriend and the hotel owner was very helpful and hospitable, he gave us a cooking class for local Sri Lankan foods and let us smoke in the room, such a legend. He dropped us off at some nearby places to go hiking aswell, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Many beautiful hikes to do nearby, a very cosy stay the owner was happy to supply extra blankets and heater, there is a beautiful view of the town where you can see both waterfalls from your bedroom window, would definitely stay again. Watching the sunrise while sipping on some local tea on my balcony was my favourite part.

It was great place to be. I love location near the city center and still such a quiet. Also the house is aury, big, clean, just beautiful spot to stay and be in. Thank you.

Super nice host, clean and renovated house ! Also one of the most comfortablest beds. If you ask, you can have nice breakfast and dinner on the balcony. He ist good with cooking. ;) They also got a nice garden and sunrise from the balcony. We asked him for hiking and climbing up to the waterfall and it was just great. He knows a lot about Nature, animals and anything about Sri Lanka. They also got warm water, renting scooter and Taxi service to train station. So no worries, recommend!
