The family was very caring, the house was spotless, we felt like we were at home, the breakfast was beyond perfect, we had everything we needed, it was a peaceful environment in the middle of nature.

I particularly liked the warm and friendly encounter with the hotel family. I received a very nice and warm welcome. Breakfast and dinner were prepared with great love, so that nothing was missing. I enjoyed the two-day tour of the region the most. Nisal is also a very good guide. He visited the Horton Plains with me. A breathtaking landscape that I would never have experienced so beautifully without his expert guidance. Many thanks to the whole family.

“Wonderful”
Cute little hotel, hidden in the hills (it is pretty challenging to find it). They had warm bedding, which was very nice, as it was pretty cold during my stay. Staff is wonderful and they take really good care of you. They even brought me a little heater to warm up and dry some wet stuff I had. Would totally recommend staying at Heart of the Hill!

“New beautiful guest house in quiet area”
Young couple starting their guest house. Great material - wood floors from mango trees, lovely breakfast tables, very nice decoration in the bedroom. Quite surroundings. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast, very kind owners.
