The cutest wooden cabin I’ve ever stayed in! Really nicely designed and great that there are two beds. Nice little outdoor space with hammock and balcony upstairs was great to get the late afternoon sun. Nishantha the neighbour is a Turk Tuk driver and looked after us so well! A man with a heart of gold so if you stay here, please use him to take you around. He was an excellent guide, photographer and driver!

“Comfortable and homey, a quirky stay to remember!”

Absolutely loved this stay - very cute cottage vibe, with a second story that has a bed looking out over the mountains of Nuwara Eliya. Very cute and homey. Exactly what we needed for our couple of days here.

The chalet is lovely decorated and being high located, the balcony offers an amazing view of the landscape. We had ourselves a unique, cozy stay and enjoyed playing cards on the veranda.

Huge beds with comfy pillows and duvet, really quirky decor and makes a very unique stay. Helpful staff who let us leave our bags after check out.

“Beautiful unique cosy stay”

We stayed here for only one night while driving through the mountains on our bike. On our short stay the hosts warmth, generosity and customer service made a lasting impression on us. He let us check in late and had his brother meet us to answer any questions. He also provided us wood to use the fire ♥️ this was so appreciated after driving for days and being very cold in some areas. You will not find a cosier place in nuwara eliya. Being able to make hot drinks with the refreshments provided & heating up our left over takeaway with the microwave was a god send!! We were so tired after driving the host let us check out late by a few hours at no extra cost. The cabin was cosy, warm, fresh and felt really special. We watched a beautiful orange golden sunset from behind the mountain tops while being wrapped up in the fleecy blankets with our hot drinks in the upstairs bedroom. We slept downstairs because of the warming fire, the bed was the comfiest we slept in our 2 months travelling Sri Lanka! Lakshitha the host is a genuine and great man, super laid back and will go miles out of his way for you. We had the pleasure of meeting him briefly on leaving and he was just a straight up cool guy with a quirky place and nothing but the best vibes. We wish you every success. Room Quality: Despite the noise issue, the room was very clean and quaint. It's well-maintained and comfortable for guests. Balcony View: The chalet features a wonderful balcony that offers views of the mountains and the city. It's a great spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation, adding to the overall value of staying here. Conclusion: Haven Chalet offers a generally positive stay with its unique fireplace feature, clean and quirky rooms, and scenic balcony views. The soundproofing issue is something to keep in mind, but on the whole, it's a recommendable spot for a short stay.

Staff was very helpful and decent ... design was perfect qnd coozy for each detail in the place .. highly recommended for friends.

A cozy, very thoughtful place utilization, an attic kind of a first floor bed as well. The dining area is right outside the main door. Very good place to stay with a small family or friends as well. Very polite staff and he helped us in everything like ordering food from outside at 9 pm during heavy rains. Oven, hot water kettle, fireplace inside the room was the best
