The staff were amazing - restaurants were closed earlier than usual due to Poya and the team made us dinner at short notice. They also put a bonfire on outside because it was a cold night. Really great !!

“Best hostel experience”
We stayed in the hostel during the cyclone. I want to thank Kapil for everything! I will never forget you guys. This place kept us safe, fed, entertained and gave us so much more than a hotel would ever give. We made friends for life! Hope to meet you again guys! <3 love from Greece

It's a cute, rustic, tastefully done hostel with private accommodation, overseeing Lake Gregory. We had a lovely view of the lake from our stay. The host was super friendly, and it has sufficient space in the main area, but the interiors needed a bit of a repainting, but otherwise it was a fantastic space.

“Best place to stay in Nuwara Eliya!!”
Amazing location — quiet, green, and beautiful surroundings. Very cozy hostel with a real home-like atmosphere. The hosts are absolutely the best: welcoming, warm, and genuinely caring. You immediately feel comfortable here. The hostel itself is very clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms, hot water, everything works as it should. They offer a wonderful breakfast on site — a perfect way to start the day. There is a small garden in front of the house and a great view of the lake, which makes the place even more special. I would 100% come back here. Honestly, I would skip Ella and extend my stay here without hesitation. Everything was perfect. Big thanks to Shiva for everything!

“This hostel wasn’t for me, it looked fine but I missed comfy vibes and wanted to be closer to the city center and hikes.”

“Friendliness and comfort”
The staff was very friendly. They welcomed me with tea and a lovely chat. Breakfast was very complete and ready at the agreed time.
