“Great hotel with high quality rooms and service”

Cozy hotel with very clean rooms and great menus from the restaurant. The breakfast is also very good. Very courteous, prompt and nice staff.

Staff were all exceptionally professional, pleasant and attentive. Everywhere was very clean, despite the weather outside, the hotel had a warm homely feeling, nice cosy longe and bar areas. Nice location just outside town , if weather better could have explored the forest and not too far to walk to Gregory lake approx 1km or so.

Old style clean and with luxury taste hotel. Location is amazing for good rest - 5 minutes drive from city, but so calm and relaxing at night! Absolutely diamond in that hostel is restaurant - foods were amazing, great choise of wines and nice bar area with live music after dinner.

Very quaint place. Has a lovely colonial feel about it. It was cold (as always), but the staff helped with a heater and ensured that we were comfortable. The bar is a lovely place to sit and have a drink.

Traditional hotel near the lake. Comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and dinner. Nice bar area to relax.

The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the property is well-located.

Location ouside town. You need a car, there is nothing nearby. Staff was very friendly and akways helpful. Nice bar. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

We liked that it was generally better kept than other hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka. As with all hotels during our trip, the photos are always very well taken and not 100% real, but in this hotel the discrepancy between photo and reality was objectively less than usual. The food was great! A quite big and clean buffet in a lovely room.

They helped us ordering a tuk tuk to different places in town. The bed was also pretty comfortable.

Amazing staff, they helped us to arrange the trekking with the guide, excursion to the tea factory. Nice food and very nice “relax area” with billiard, table soccer and books.

“Our second visit to this beautiful hotel”

This is our second visit to Galway Heights. The hotel, staff, food and location is exceptional. The beds are comfortable, evening entertainment was professional and appropriate. We loved it !!!

This hotel is set within beautiful grounds, very quiet and peaceful. The staff are exceptional, always on hand to help and nothing is too much trouble. We were sorry to leave.
