Appleton Villa, located in a beautiful setting surrounded by a beautiful mountain range, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, was an unforgettable experience during our Sri Lanka tour, The room was very clean and tidy with modern amenities and a wide range of breakfast options, as well as the hospitality of the staff from the moment we checked in until we left. It was truly a place where we got great value for the money we paid. Highly recommended

Comfy bed, cosy room and a hot water shower - just what I needed after a few days of travelling around non-stop and wanted to rest. The host was also very accommodating, organising transport and gave me a cup of hot tea when I got back from a long day of exploring :) The place also feels very safe with proper locks.

It really exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable. The dinner was very well prepared, and the breakfast was also very tasty and varied. I would like to mention all the staff who were always very attentive and dedicated to their service. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, and the entire premises were very well maintained. They were kind enough to give us an extra blanket before we even asked since it was a bit cold. Highly recommended.

I can definitely say that it was the most unique stay we had during our Sri Lanka trip. Even though it was completely full of guests that day, they were quick to accommodate all our needs. They arranged vehicles for our transportation needs at a very reasonable price which was a great convenience for us. The wide screen TV with Netflix Prime Video, the super comfortable bed should be mentioned. The entire staff is very friendly and always strives to provide the highest level of service. The food and drinks are delicious, the entire premises are very clean and well maintained and we can say that it exceeded our expectations. A highly recommended place to stay for anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The service was top-notch—every request was handled promptly and with a smile. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. The food was delicious, with a great variety for every taste, and the dining area was clean and inviting. The amenities were excellent as well. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially loved the 42'smart TV with Netflix and Prime. Great value for the money.  Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

We had a different experience at Appleton Villa, located in a windy area with strong fog and strong winds. You should definitely experience it. The very clean and well-appointed room, spacious smart TV, bathroom with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed, gave us great value for the money we paid. The varied breakfast was very tasty. Our short stay at Appleton Villa was a wonderful experience with the most hospitable staff.

Suresh and his team were great hosts. They helped us organize trips to Horton Plains, Nuwara Eliya and the train station. They were very accomodating and prepared great breakfast and dinner for us. The villa is ~15-20 min ride to Nuwara Eliya city center, but it is ideally loacted to go to the Horton Plain national Park. The room and interior is modern and equipped with everything we needed.

Thanks Appleton….! What a tremendous hospitality we received. I personally don’t give 10/10 to anyone . For some reason I see these people how much service oriented. We stay one night near city of Nuwaraeliya. Staying in town is expensive for everything . Then we booked Appleton. We had a great chit chat with Mr Chaminda who revealed how much they care about their guest. Bathrooms were fully loaded with all amenities with top qualities appliances. Over roll we’re fully satisfied.
