The rooms were spacious which was great for our group and each bedroom has a separate bathroom. The combined living, dining and kitchen area was comfortable. Surroundings are quiet enough. Breakfast was served in the room in the morning which was mainly fruit, tea/coffee, toast with jam/butter, sandwiches, eggs and a sausage.

Took us in at the last minute, after being let down with a property full of mould. This place had no mould which is hard to come across in the area!

We stayed at Andora during Cyclone Ditwah. Pradeep and his team could not have been more kind or helpful in the situation, letting us stay past our booking period without hesitation, helping us re-plan with the information available and providing delicious Sri Lankan food for us even with supplies running low. Pradeep even checked on us after we left to ensure we reached our next destination safely which we really appreciated. The property itself was lovely with clean, comfortable rooms and great panoramic views from the shared living space. And just a short walk to the town centre, but far enough to feel completely peaceful. We are so thankful to this hotel for their kindness and hospitality. If you’re planning to stay in Nuwara Eliya, don’t hesitate to book here.

Pradeep welcomed us with a big warm smile in his beautiful house. The house is very luminous and the room was very nice and well equipped for our family. Pradeed gave us many tips about activities to do in Nuwara Eliya. He was also very flexible arranging our breakfast early in the morning as we were going hiking. .

We got screwed over by another hotel and managed to get in here last minute. What a place , great rooms and the most amazing staff , highly recommend

“A little gem in Nuwara Eliya.”

It's a quiet property, nestled away at the end of a small lane. The balcony gives you a full view of the road and a vegetable garden close by. The owners, Visma and her dad are very polite and helpful. They ensured we were comfortable and treated us like long-lost guests, not strangers. They even provided breakfast to us in their home downstairs. It was lovely to connect with them, understand their lives and relate to them easily. We enjoyed our stay in the room. It was exactly what was listed.

My stay at Andora Nuwara was amazing. The owner was a great host. The house is beautiful and the room and bathroom exceptionally clean and comfortable. Food was really good too. Staff was lovely and make me feel like I’m at home. As a female solo traveller, the owner and staff looked after me, gave me lots of tips and help me to book and arrange prices of tuktuks. I strongly recommend to stay here.

Please consider the following points while you book. Their deluxe double room has nothing' deluxe' about it. It is a small room. It has a private bathroom but it is outside the room. The room does not have air conditioning. They provide the guests with heaters but the shared kitchen and sitting area gets very cold. Besides there are long power cuts when the room gets very cold.

One of the best stay in Sri Lanka. The room and the property were very clean, with amenities and very comfortable bed. Big thanks to Pradeep, very kind and professional, he knows the hotelier’s standards, thing that is not so common in all places and he gave us many recommendations where to eat and about the country. We had one of the best breakfast and Pradeep welcomed our requests.

It was perfect, immaculately clean, cozy! The rooms felt luxurious. The hosts were super friendly, they offered help but were not pushy at all, prepared awesome breakfast and made us feel at home. We were amazed by Andora and will come back if we ever visit nuwara eliya again. You can walk into town and to every sight in town and to the nearby lovers leap waterfall. Big recommendation !!

The staff is amazing, everything was perfect

The location was excellent—quiet yet conveniently close to restaurants, the city center, a park and a lake. The breakfast was decent, though not outstanding. Our room was clean, and all the furnishings were brand new.

A lovely place with an amazing staff. We stayed for two nights, it was very rainy and my friend was not feeling well, they didn't stop taking care of her. They prepared delicious food for us and even offered Ayurvedic medicine. It felt like staying at your parents' house.
