Ajit and Priya went out of there way to makes us feel welcome and cooked us a beautiful curry and rice dinner at very late notice. They were also full of information and which we found very helpful. The host family at AGP Home is truly incredible! We have never experienced such friendly, attentive, and kind hosts before. They provided us with countless tips about Nuwara Eliya, and on the day of our departure, the host even helped us at the train station to secure the correct tickets and seats—what amazing service! The accommodation is located a bit outside of town, but the bus only costs 60 rupees per person, and a tuk-tuk is also inexpensive. The deluxe double room was slightly smaller than expected and felt a bit old-fashioned, but it was absolutely sufficient. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. The water in the shower could have been a bit warmer, but all in all, it was a very enjoyable stay—many thanks again!

Our experience at AGP Home (Nuwara Eliya) was excellent. Although we only stayed one night, it was more than enough to realize how incredible the service is. The host was incredibly helpful from the very beginning: he picked us up in Sigiriya in the morning, and we spent the whole day with him on the journey to Nuwara Eliya, passing through Kandy and making several stops to visit places and enjoy the scenery along the way. It was much more than just a transfer; it was practically a private tour. Once at the house, he, his wife, and their daughter were all lovely and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable and pleasant, perfect for relaxing. In short, a 10/10 experience for the hospitality, kindness, and service. Without a doubt, highly recommended.

Nice room, clean and great bed. Super kind and helpful hosts too, a very enjoyable one night stay. We left early to catch train in Ambewela and the lovely Priya packed us a takeaway breakfast.

Our stay at AGP Homestay in Nuwara Eliya was absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean, spacious, with a beautiful terrace and a brand-new modern bathroom. The property is located on a hill, offering stunning views of the town and the surrounding green hills that are so typical for this region. What truly makes this place exceptional are the hosts. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and take care of you almost like family. They happily recommended activities in the area, helped us plan trips, and even arranged transportation when needed. Breakfasts were simply royal – delicious, generous, and prepared with great care. On one occasion, when we had to leave early for a trip, the hosts even prepared a breakfast box for us to take along, which was such a thoughtful surprise. There is also filtered water and black tea available, which perfectly suits the cooler climate of Nuwara Eliya. The hosts are well prepared for the chilly evenings – the rooms have warm duvets, and they are always ready to provide extra blankets to make sure you feel comfortable. The whole place has a warm, homely atmosphere, and our stay here was one of those experiences we will remember for a long time. If you are looking for accommodation with breathtaking views, outstanding hospitality, and an authentic Sri Lankan touch, AGP Homestay is a place we can wholeheartedly recommend. 🌿✨

It’s perfect home stay with amazing family hosting. Good food, nice home feeling, amazing host both Priya and her husband. They can arrange local tuktuk and cars for sight seeing and that too in cheap rates. Overall amazing stay. Will come back soon.
