We had a wonderful 4 days in Termáles, Nena and her family made us feel like at home. The Posada is simple but provides all that you need. Located in the heart of a beautiful village provides an incredibly authentic experience. We were so happy to book the whale observation tour with the Esfuerzo team and saw these beautiful animals in their natural habitats. Blessing!!!

the hostel is located in the middle of termales. the bed was clean and comfortable and the toilet was very nice and clean. the family was lovely as super helpful. we were given so much information about the area and the activities we can do. we stayed in another place in termales but after we still went back to book a tour. definitely recommend

Our private room was super comfortable and had a very effective mosquito net. While the facilities are simple, we had everything we needed for our laid back stay in the amazing village of Termales. The best thing about the property were our amazing hosts Doña Nena and Don Lincer and their son Nilson. They cooked us delicious food, gave us great advice for the area, and helped load us on and off the boat when we arrived/left the village. They even lent us a machete to crack open a coconut we found on a beach hike! Such a wonderful place :)

The place is basic, very hot is the room because there was no ventilation (they gave us a little fan though). The location is very quiet, we had no problems sleeping besides the heat. Doña Nena is super friendly! They also have a little shop in case you need basic stuff or snacks.

Nena the host was really friendly. The food was good, good location and nice rooms. We also booked a whale watching tour here which was also great!

An incredible stay with incredible hosts! Our hosts were welcoming, kind, and truly invested in our experience. It’s a great location. If you are traveling through Termales, Posada El Esfuerzo is a must stay.

This is an excellent hostel in Termales. The room we had was large and really comfortable, clean and with a mosquito net. You could hear the sea while you slept which was lovely! The staff were also amazing, helpful and really went above and beyond. They helped us organise day trips and even a dinner out as a group which was lovely. We also did some laundry here which was really needed. The food was excellent and a reasonable price for the area. The location is perfect - 10m from the beach and close to the Termales and the waterfalls. Would 100% recommend El Esfuerzo!
