TOTAL SCAM: Extortion, Police Threats, and Price Fraud! WARNING to all travelers! This is the worst experience in my life. 1. Price Manipulation: I booked two rooms for $500. Upon arrival, I discovered the actual market price for these rooms is only $113 (I have screenshots). The host lied to my face, saying he has "no control over prices," while he actually sets them himself. 2. Extortion & Greed: When my guests visited for only one hour, the host demanded an additional $48 ($24 per person). This is insane, considering the daily rate for the room was $17 at that moment! This fee is not mentioned anywhere in the Booking.com rules — it’s just a way to rob tourists. Aggressive Behavior: The owner is extremely hostile. Instead of solving issues, he constantly threatens to call the police to intimidate guests. He treats tourists like walking wallets, not human beings. Safety: I felt unsafe and harassed throughout my stay. Using the police as a tool for extortion is a disgusting practice. VERDICT: Do not stay here. There are plenty of beautiful, honest hotels in Nungwi/Zanzibar for $20-30. If you choose this place, be prepared to be overcharged by 400% and then threatened when you check out. Booking.com, please investigate this property for price fraud and guest harassment.

We have a great time in this property. The staff were all super friendly and the location is great. Very close to the beach and good restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Zanzibar. Also has a great pool.

The staff is very attentive and sweet. The host helped us with arranging transport and getting around the island.

Breakfast was included in the room price, and it was good and plentiful. The room had aircondition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had some problems with shower but they fixed it immediately and then warm water was available from the shower.

Staff are so helpful and welcoming. I will miss them. I stayed three nights (I extended my stay but changed rooms as that room was booked) and didn’t want to leave. The food was 10/10. Breakfast was tasty too. Great location to the beach (10 mins walk) and shops. Everything was clean. Rooms had a fridge and locker safe inside. Thank you for having me :)
