Overview
Located on the edge of a small rocky cliff with stunning views over the Indian Ocean out to Mnemba Island, The Zanzibari is set in lush and tropical gardens. Each room has a private balcony or terrace and all rooms overlook either the ocean or the gardens. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Situated by the pool, The Mvuvi Bar offers lunches, snacks and light evening meals. The formal Dhow restaurant serves 5-course dinners, combining international and local flavours. Each 5-course dinner offers a choice of meat, fish and seafood. Guests can relax at the spa, which offers a range of massages, beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures right by the Indian Ocean. The Zanzibari is located 15 minutes’ walk from Nungwi fishing village and a 1.5 hour drive from Stone Town. Dar es Salaam can be reached within a 2-hour ferry trip or a 20-minute flight from Zanzibar Stone Town.

“Avoid going, it’s a scam”
Unfortunately the property misrepresented the level of hospitality of the accommodation: the management is under qualified to deliver at the rate they requested and it shows on few and different aspect. Avoid any and all surprises.

“A dream holiday on a beautiful island with incredible people who allow you to have a holiday of a li”
I loved the fact that there was a private beach so we were not haggled by people trying to sell us many things. The pool was clean and warm and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff are absolutely superb! Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to meet your needs. It was my husband's birthday and they made him a cake and we had a special dinner on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay at the Zanzibari.

It is a beautiful location and hotel, but it’s also very expensive for what you get, the sea was very rough so you couldn’t go down and swim on the beach,

“Great”
Let me first talk about the staff, there were always ready around me and assisted whatever I asked. I need to mention especially my guy Nzorin, he is legendary. Now I got a brother over there. The room has a nice view, is clean and well-conditioned. Breakfast was good and "fish salad" amazingly delicious. My flight was late and they let me check out pretty late and did not charge.
