Everything.. the location of the hotel from beach is excellent.. Beach was very clean. Staff was excellent. As we are vegetarian they really catered us with yummy ,vegetarian good every night. Staff was really very friendly, Room as newly renovated and very clean.. All rooms are very near to swimming pool and beach.

We came to nungwi with zero expectations and Sandies hotel completely exceeded all of them, from the open planned layout of the resort, to the privacy of the beach area and the exceptional hospitality displayed by all the staff, making our stay so memorable. Daniel in particular went above and beyond to make our experience truly special, helping us with any questions we had and to organise trips. We enjoyed the daily activities offered by staff and the breakfast buffet which had lots of options to choose from. The room was comfortable and spacious. Location was perfect, it is right on the beach front so you can snorkel and swim as you please. If you are staying in Nungwi I highly recommend staying in Sandies Baobab.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sandies Baobab Beach Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and beautifully laid-back — exactly what you want from a beach escape. The location is stunning, set right on a gorgeous stretch of white sand beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters. The sunsets here are unforgettable and truly make each evening special. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely natural style that fits perfectly with the surroundings. The entire resort is well-maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a peaceful, tropical feel. The staff were incredible — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. The food was also a highlight, with plenty of variety and fresh, delicious options every day (mainly Italian style).

Location, location, location! A beautiful garden resort with 26 baobab trees on the property, very nice, cute villas with everything you need. Very good double shower! Excellent location, great local staff, attentive, smiling, eager to interact. Good room service. A lot of small local restaurants in the neighborhood ( 5 minutes walking via the beach)with fresh seafood. Wonderful sunsets, exceptional ocean colors!

A special thank you to the chefs for the delicious food, the waiters for the wonderful service, the housekeeping team for keeping our room perfectly clean, the security guard for always being attentive, and the reception staff for their help in solving the problem with our suitcase that the airport had lost. Everything during our stay was simply perfect — not a single issue. We loved every moment and will be more than happy to return!
