Overview
Located directly on a white sandy beach with a coral reef, Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort offers tropical gardens with 4 outdoor pools and water-sports facilities. Guests can also relax with a massage at the Spa. The Resort features modern-Zanzibar design and all rooms have a large bed surrounded by a mosquito net and a large balcony. The private bathrooms contain a bath and shower and are stocked with free toiletries. Each of the 2 restaurants serves a variety of cuisine, ranging from an international breakfast at Spices to fresh, local seafood at Samaki. Coco Bar provides light meals and beverages during the day. There is a games room with darts and table tennis, or guests can work out at the gym. Situated on the north coast of Zanzibar, Royal Beach Resort is a 60-minute drive away from Stone Town and 60 km away from the Zanzibar International Airport.

“Perfect birthday stay – amazing staff, beautiful resort.”
My girlfriend and I had a 2-night stay at the Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort, and it was her birthday during our trip. The resort itself is amazing, but what really made our holiday perfect were Ivone and Warda. They prepared several surprises for my girlfriend – with so much kindness and care. Their hospitality made her birthday truly unforgettable. Thank you so much, Ivone and Warda! And thank you Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort for having such wonderful staff. We will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

I absolutely loved my stay at Royal. The facilities are nice and the place is lovely but what made it outstanding was the staff. Everyone was very friendly. But especially Claudia the guest relations manager during our stay. She went out of her to accommodate all of our needs and kept checking up on us if we need anything.
