“Great beach & excellent staff”

Right on the beach, we had an oven front room which was amazing we walked straight out to our sun beds outside our room each day good selection of different foods at the buffet, fisherman’s restaurant really good and the staff very friendly. A lot of complaints about the WiFi but we didn’t have any issues. Reception were extremely helpful, when we arrived my husband was unwell, they arranged a transfer to a local doctor & they called our room each day to see how he was doing. They also allowed us to bring food back to the room as he was unable to eat at the restaurant

Staff were amazing! Upgraded me to sea view, perfect spot, amazing spacious, clean room. Food amazing, gorgeous beach, refreshing pool and the people, i mean the staff people, all so welcoming, friendly, helpful, accommodating! I loved my stay Turaco!!!!!!

I had a terrible experience with a local man, Stephan Kitatange, who was stalking me and even threatening me, so on the last day, I was scared to leave the resort, and the staff did not react properly. He was yelling insults at me and literally threatening my safety and threatening me with violence. The staff did not call the police or do anything about it, and this man regularly approaches your guests to scam them, and nothing has been done about this. This is his phone number, I got it because he was trying to organise a trip for me, but because he wanted money ahead, I cancelled it +255 671 541 843

The main reason of our stay was because of checking out the island. The persons behind our wellbeing are the workers around the bars and in the restaurants. They made us feel special even on the day when it wasn't the best... for me personally sometimes the food wasn't 100% but the kindness of Eflasia, Omar, Rajab, Fariha and Stephano made it for it. They pay attention to the customers and make their wishes "come true" 😇

Turaco Resort is a beautiful little paradise where you can truly relax. Our room provided everything one could wish for on a vacation. The location is practically on the beach – we were just 20 steps from our sunbed. The hotel beach is excellently maintained, there are enough sunbeds for all guests, and beach towels are always available. The food is excellent and varied. We had the all-inclusive option, which proved to be an excellent decision. I must praise the attentive waiters who walk along the beach and serve your desired drinks. The staff is very friendly. We experienced exceptional kindness from Efrasia in the main restaurant and from Stephan at the beach bar. However, swimming in the sea was quite a challenge. The position of the moon strongly affects the tides, and during the first three days of the full moon, we had to hurry with swimming because the water receded very quickly, or the waves during high tide were very strong. I warmly recommend Turaco Resort Nungwi for a carefree holiday.
