“Great relaxing stay!”

Staff, pool and our room were fantastic. Our host was very knowledgeable and even took the time to take us out personally to a beach party All the staff were friendly and helpful The pool was very relaxing Very close to some fantastic restaurants and beaches Our room was very comfortable Our host explained that there are power cuts every day administered by the government. However this didn’t affect our stay at all. Fantastic accommodation! Will definitely be back in the future!

The general breakfast and spread was good; the grilled tomatoes were done beautifully always. The bungalows are well cocooned away from the bustle of the touristy activities and a great retreat at the end of a busy day.We would visit again.

Our stay at this accommodation was overall pleasant and had a very homely atmosphere. The place is surrounded by lots of beautiful plants, which gives it a calm and welcoming feel. The owner was absolutely lovely—very friendly, welcoming, and took the time to explain everything clearly when we arrived. The staff were also polite and helpful, and the whole area was kept tidy and well maintained. The location is another big plus, as it’s quite close to the beach, making it very convenient for morning or evening walks.

It was our first time to nungwi, And we found mawimbi bungalows quite easily the atmosphere of the resort was lovely Our rooms were ready early so we could check in earlier than expected the vibe was really nice one day I was in the pool and the staff climbed the tree and cut down a coconut and gave me one to drink fresh which was very nice Food was good and the host Carla looked after us very well

The location is fantastic, a short walk from the beach but just nice enough away to be out of the business of it. The staff here are incredible, so friendly, helpful and personable. The room was amazing abs cleaners were brilliant! The pool was lovely aswell!

“Acceptable option in Nungwi”

Location and decoration of the place. It seems that you are in the middle of nature. Good hot water pressure and clean room. They fill you up bottle of still water everyday. Masai Pedro the best one!!!

The property is amazing and very beautiful. They have some nature around and the houses or bungalows have an African style. The breakfast was very good and staff was nice and welcoming. The closest beach is a 5-minute walk and is very beautiful. The colour of the sea is amazing! The place we stayed was large and the bedrooms were very beautiful. They also have a nice pool. They have a place to park the car inside the property and Masais work there as doormen.

The staff were amazing at mawimbi bungalows. It was my friends birthday and they went all out to make her day so special ❤️ we would recommend mawimbi bungalows to anyone staying in Nungwi!

“Amazing stay in Mawimbi”

The stay in Mawimbi was amazing. We had everything what we needed at the property. The room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was great and overall the atmosphere was amazing. Close to the beach and near by to the local shops. Host Carla greeted us when we arrived and was always avaiable. We felt like at home. Thank you very much for having us!

I strongly recomend mavimbi bungalows hotel. It was so cozy and it felt like home. Carla and the staff made sure that we where comfortable. They where also so welcoming and helpful with everything. I will probably stay at the same hotel if I ever go back to zanzibar.

Great quiet location with wonderful garden close to busy Nungwi beach. Host Carla is lovely and does have several tips what to do in Nungwi and even organizes it for her guests. Staff super nice. Driver available on site. Will go again.
