“Simply everything you need for a short stay in Nungwi”
The staff is amazing. Issay made sure we were not short of anything and the breakfast was endless. When we visited, they had just reopened after low-season closure. There was only a few other guest and they were visibly preparing for high-season, but everything was great.

Gaia Villas was a peaceful little paradise to relax in after busy days sightseeing and exploring. The pool was beautiful, the bungalows large and really comfy and the breakfast was amazing every day! All the staff from Issa on reception to the security and cleaning teams were so friendly and helpful and we were really sad to leave. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone keen for a great value, well located place to stay in Nungwi but doesn’t fancy one of the big resort hotels.

Beautiful garden with pool, like being in a jungle. Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. 5 minutes walk from Nungwi beach, Kendwa beach is also just 10 minutes by TucTuc taxi.

Very cozy place with an amazing swimming pool and delicious breakfast (the best that we had in Zanzi). The nature inside the hotel is stunning and very relaxing, also helps with the Zanzi heat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They even were participating in my birthday and prepared special pineapple cake for me 🧡.

“You will not regret your stay.”
So peaceful and lusciously green. Very quiet despite being so close to Nungwi beach. The staff were 10/10, comfortable room with great facilities and delicious fresh breakfast. Very family friendly and great location. We could not fault a single thing. Please be aware that in Zanzibar sometimes the power goes out but this is everywhere on the island that has the same problem, not the fault of the accommodation. Remember you are in africa, not the Maldives. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Security and Service was both unbelievably friendly! We didn’t have to open the door once ourselves, even in the middle of the night! The breakfast was spectacular - the freshly baked bread is something you don’t want to miss. The whole place felt like an oasis, it‘s calm, green, not crowded and super clean! When you come in it is like 10 degrees cooler just because of the plants, which is a life saver on some days! I would like to give more than 10 stars if I could because it was definetely one of the best accommodations I‘ve ever stayed at in my life!! The price is completely justified and we would definitely stay there again! Thank you very much again Gaia Villas for all you effords!

“A dream spot to switch off”
It’s good value for money,clean ,tranquil, ideally located (about a 5 -10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants) and basically the perfect spot for a solo traveller. The breakfast is amazing. I especially loved the extra little touches in the room like a beach bag and an umbrella for guests to use. And a great selection of books in the ‘library’ at the kitchen.
