Haluk our host was very kind and homourous. He had lots of local knowledge he was happy to share.

Lovely owner Haluk friendly knowledgeable and organised a trip to the slice farm for us and came with us. Great staff Flora and Patricia were very friendly and served lovely breakfasts. Nice location close to beach but far enough away from the hustle of it all, the area is so quiet at night you get a great sleep. Value for money is great.

“Good budget option in a central location”

“I’m not able to say anything positive. The hotel has no security, and I was robbed on the first nigh”

On the first night, I was robbed. My iPhone 16 Pro, 406 US dollars in cash, a power bank, the original iPhone cable, earphones, a waist bag (“nerka”), and a suitcase were stolen. In the suitcase, I had a Philips toothbrush charger, other chargers, sanitary pads, a Victorinox multitool, and a thermos mug — that’s all I can remember. Someone entered my room at night and took these items. There was a hole in the window. I was sleeping in my bed, so I assume someone sprayed something to keep me from waking up. Haluk went with me to the police station and gave me 50,000 Tanzanian shillings (about 17 euros). He also lent me his phone so I could call my friends and the embassy. However, he never informed me that I had received any messages from them. In reality, he did nothing to help me.

“Amazing stay”

Very hospitable host who even helped organize our activities and guided us on where to go on our night outs. Room was clean and spacious. The it also a walking distance to the beach Facilities were good: hot water, WiFi. There was also good breakfast. Side note: Carry a power bank as Zanzibar generally has evening power outages

We had a nice time there. The owner is Turkish and is so helpful, kind and considerate. A shared kitchen and hotel is beside shops and just a few minutes' walk to the beach ⛱️ 😎 I will be back.

Location is great, i didn't feel unsafe walking back alone in the dark after the sunsets. It's further away from all the chaos of nungwi, so you can literally just chill out. They have a restaurant and a bar as well, so you can spend the night in. Breakfast was really delicious. Rooms are clean

Haluk is a great host, also a very interesting person. The place is a few minutes walk from the beach and close to many restaurants and entertainment venues. The room is big and always clean with hot shower and great water steam, ceiling fan, and a very comfortable bed. I’d recommend to take the option which includes breakfast, they have a great breakfast

Great location close to beach and other attractions. Was a pity we didn't get to meet Haluk during our short stay but Flora was a superb host. Handling all requests in a blink of an eye. The two dinners she prepared for us were top notch, especially enjoyed the grilled octopus she prepared on our first night 👌 👌. Flora also made all arrangements for our wedding vows renewal on the beach, even organizing a professional photographer. Thank you Haluk for hosting us at your establishment. You have real gems of staff. Hope to visit in the future.

“Great spot by a beautiful beach run by lovely people”

Great location only a short walk from the beach and some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Really good breakfast included in the rate & the menu provided for meals had plenty of tasty options. We went in the rainy season and still found plenty to keep us occupied with the help of the lovely staff. Shout out to Nana & Hakul, the owners, for their warmth, recommendations and great company. They, Flora & little Precious make this place a truly special spot to locate yourself while in Zanzibar.
