“This is how you can relax on vacation”
A fantastic hotel right on the most beautiful beach in northern Zanzibar, in Nungwi. Very friendly and attentive staff. The Nungwi market is within walking distance. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food and invites you to relax with a fantastic view of Nungwi Beach. The frequent power cuts on the island are handled very well in this hotel thanks to its own generator. I am sure I will book this beautiful hotel again next time. Thank you very much for everything.

The management reached out from the very start of the booking and tried their best to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.They upgraded our room since it was a special occasion for us,free of charge.Very mindful. It had air-conditioning along with a fan. The manager who was at the hotel was there to listen also and was very helpful.A good guy. And overall the staff was nice.

“A little slice of paradise!”
We stayed at Blue Tides over Xmas & new year and it couldn't have been a better place to pick in Nungwi 🙂 A couple of small issues were quickly resolved & they willingly helped us resolve the issue of our delayed luggage from Nairobi. The location is amazing - right on the beach. It's a small enough hotel that you get to know the staff really well & all of them can't do enough to help you & make your stay perfect. When we had a trip cancelled by another agent they did everything to sort another one for us & make it possible in the timescales we had. The beach sellers weren't an issue & the staff quickly intervene if they're being a nuisance. We'd go back tomorrow & stay here 💙

“Soothing, enjoyable.”
Blue Tide hotel location is one of the best. If anyone wants to enjoy the ocean with blue waters for the entire day, Blue tide is the hotel to visit. Amazing beaches,clean waters. The view from the restaurant overlooking the ocean was a wonderful experience.Lot of activities on the beach itself, like jet ski, dhow cruise, snorkelling options- you do not have to go anywhere else as the pick you up from the beach itself.

“The evening of our arrival with 3 children in the hotel we were informed that there was no more room”
During our ferry crossing the day of our arrival at the hotel, the management informed me that there was no mor e room even though our booking had been confirmed 2 days before. I was with 3 children without accommodation at 6:00 p.m. during the end-of-year holiday period when all the hotels are full. The hotel simply apologized without propose any other solution. This is absolutely unacceptable. This demonstrates a total lack of professionalism and humanity. The management of the Booking application needs to be reviewed with this establishment.

Very friendly and cooperative staff. Amazing location. Right on the beach. Rooms were spacious and big beds and bathrooms. Clean rooms.. The restaurant has a large variety on the menu and tasty food. Will book here only for our next trip.

“Perfect”
We got welcomed very nicely by the staff they have been friendly and fantastic. When we complained about something they are quick at resolving it, like I complained about the portion of my vegetable spring rolls, they added more. Perfect location right at the beach, you can swim anytime.
