Overview
Hotel Heerlen is a luxury 4-star hotel located on the countryside, just 800 metres from the 14th-century Terworm Castle and estate. The property includes an indoor swimming pool and a gym. It also features a wellness area (against a surcharge) with various saunas, an indoor/outdoor relaxation area and an ice lounge. The centre of Heerlen is only a 15-minute walk away. Each room comes with a private bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The modern a la carte restaurant on site serves internationally oriented dishes. Guests can enjoy beverages at the bar. The hotel is only a 3-minute drive from Central Station.

“Very disappointed not return”
We stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Heerlen from April 18 to May 1. This was our third long stay, but this time the experience was very disappointing On the day of departure, my disabled mother felt very unwell and needed to rest. I asked for a late check-out until 12:00, but the manager (Lin) refused. At 11:20 we received rude phone calls telling us to come to reception within 5 minutes. At check-out, we were also asked to pay again for breakfast and tourist tax, which were already paid. Staff attitude was arrogant and unfriendly. Housekeeping was poor, and service requests were ignored

“Perfect getaway!”
The room was perfect! It had a garden view where you can go out and walk to the farm nextdoor with the animals :) Annnd the spa bath was just perfect!

Everything was absolutely perfect. We were extremely satisfied with both the facilities and the staff — everyone was kind, professional, and very helpful. This was our first stay here, but definitely not our last. Thank you very much for the wonderful few days we spent here. We truly enjoyed every moment. ( Room 610 )
