Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers numerous treatments, baths and massages. The wellnessresort is located a 2-minute drive from the A7 and offers free parking. Thermen Bad Nieuweschans has rooms with a private bathroom and either a terrace or balcony. Guests can enjoy breakfast buffet in the morning. For an additional charge, guests can make use of a hammam and Turkish steam bath treatments. There is also a spa bath. At the Stoom Badhuis guests can experience steam baths that combines natural scents with thermal water and then cool down in the mist showers. One of better thermal hotels I have visited. The whole propeety is beautiful, breakfast perfect and room clean. Thermal pools and facities are great.

“Lost the charm, lost it's purpose”
The mineral water and the original pool was lovely as always. Will be interesting to see how the renovations turn out. They kept the beautiful gardens, but the new updates felt claustrophobic and not thought out well. The new indoor rest area by the indoor pool for instance was humid, noisy and up stairs. Not restful at all but cold and noisy...

The variety of saunas was exceptional. We enjoyed the different temperatures, lights and smells, as well as the different pools and the beautiful garden to cool down

A truly relaxing experience. I have stayed several times. The food is excellent. The facilities are perfectly arranged for the ultimate relaxation experience. The rooms are very comfortable. Top marks. I travel a lot with my business, and I can honestly say that Thermal Bad Nieuwechans is my favourite hotel spa on the planet.

Incredible. 🥵 The Wellness aspect is second to non. Saunas are excellent, as are the pools. The relaxation vibe is next level. I have stayed in the hotel 6 times, and I have never been disappointed.

I arrived in Thermen Bad Nieuweschans about 300 km into a solo bikepacking trip, and instantly made use of the saunas and hot tubs. I particularly liked the unique vibe of the northern light sauna, the scandinavian scenery really adds to the experience. I also had a relaxing massage, tasty coffee with cake and a dinner, and I have to say, I felt fully rested the next morning and could continue on my trip feel8ng relaxed and fresh.

“I will go again for sure”
The hotel rooms are small but newly renovated and comfortable. The spa offers a variety of saunas with different temperatures and themes. During my stay, it didn’t feel crowded—possibly due to controlled occupancy or just good luck.

Saunas are amazing!!! Great shows, lights, music, rituals, temperature, very interesting many different thematic saunas. The best saunas I have ever seen. Restaurants were also very nice and comfortable, tasty dinner, tasty breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are small but modern

Value for money is great. Quiet environment, large selection for breakfast. Dinner was excellent. Although didn't have much time to enjoy, spa looks outstanding!

“Relaxing weekend, highly recommended!”
My family are big fans of natural thermal baths and Bad Nieuweschans did not disappoint. We all enjoyed the experience of soaking ourselves in salty warm water, relaxing in the sun (thankfully it was sunny) and enjoying good food. The staff were all great, from the reception desk to our waiter in the restaurant, they all made an extra effort. They even tolerated our weirdly accented Dutch, no-one tried to correct us or even resort to English, they understood us perfectly well and this boosted our language-skill confidence. The rooms are very similar in size to most budget hotels, however the decor and fittings have been tastefully updated. The bathroom was spotless, something we don't always see in other hotels. Thank you for a memorable weekend, we will be back!
