Overview
The Strandhotel is a small family hotel directly facing the beach. The cosy dining room with sea view is a wonderful way to start your day with a nice breakfast. Originally being a large villa, the hotel has preserved its attractive Victorian style entrance with fireplace. The antique sitting room is a charming place to read or relax after a long walk or a cycle trip. The Strandhotel offers comfortable and quiet rooms, some with a beautiful sea view. All of the rooms have their own private bathroom. The ideal location of this hotel makes it possible to walk to all famous sights in Scheveningen the Circus Theater is 300 metres away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

“Highly recommended”
Friendly staff. Clean. Excellent location on the beach close to restaurants, small supermarkets and a tram stop. Parking garage right in front. Comfortable bed and pillows. You can sit and watch the sea while having breakfast.

“A nice, cozy hotel, directly at the beach.”
The hotel was really nice and had a cozy atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and helpful and we got a tasty breakfast. The highlight of the trip was the view from our room directly on the beach.

Room, breakfast, personnel, they were all good. The location was also very nice; close to the beach and easily accessible from the main station through local tram. Biscuits and coffee in the lobby (for free) were very good; I ate too many of biscuits :)

Travel by van 220cm high), parking is not possible in regular places, so they arranged a special license. Perfect service!

“Cozy stay with very welcoming staff”
We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The staff couldn't have been any friendlier. Everyone was just so welcoming and helpful. Our room was cozy and clean. We had a great view towards the beach. The breakfast was excellent. For Sunday they had even hired a piano player. Coffee was available all around the clock. Thank you for the hospitality!

“Very cosy and comfortable”
The hotel was very nice. The decorations for Christmas were amazing and the people put in a good effort, so that you feel nice and welcome. Very cosy vibe. I had a problem with the shower, but the lady showed me and fixed the issue (she also suggested that otherwise she will get me to another room). Very nice and fast service.

“Superb Hotel; clean, tidy and good value for money.”
The room was a single room but excellent value for money. The room was clean and tidy with a nice view. The window also fully opened which was nice to allow a good amount of fresh air in. The Shower was excellent and towels and shower gels were provided. Whilst my room did not have tea/coffee facilities, the hotel did provide free tea/coffee from the machine in the entrance foyer. There was even a fridge with free ice creams :-) I had breakfast on one of the mornings and it was very nice.
