Centrally located on the island and within walking distance of the centre of Den Burg, this inviting Stayokay Hostel Texel is popular amongst groups and individual travellers alike. “Convenient place to stay on Texel”
The breakfast was good. The room was in an efficient design, meaning separate basin, toilet, and shower, so multiple people can use different facilities at the same time. The receptionists are very friendly. Renting the tandem bikes is very fun to ride around.

Nice simple room with plenty of space. The location was very nice because it was a bit outside of town, which made it very peaceful. However the town was a very short bike ride away. The staff was very friendly and helped us rent bikes at the hostel.

“Enjoy Texel on a budget”
It is always a pleasure to stay here, good vibes all around, friendly and helpfull staff, a good mix of guests. The breakfast buffet is plentifull. Location on walking distance from the town centre is perfect

We were a group of 8 friends, and we really appreciated our stay in Texel. The location is central to go around the island by bike. Some of us worked remotely and we were able to find a quiet spot to work. The breakfast was good and really diverse, and it slightly changes every day.

“Excellent location and friendly staff”
The location is excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was tasty. I was very happy to see that they provide hand-washing soap in the room! Most hostels I've been to do not provide, or the dispenser is always empty, which is very unhygienic if you've been to the loo. Extra star for that :)

“Great hostel in good position”
We liked the outside space and the facilities. We really liked the breakfast and the fact that a gluten free breakfast was provided after we pre-ordered it. It was really appreciated. The hostel has a good vibe with lots of games for young children. We used the swimming pool next door too, which was very reasonably priced and lots of fun. We also used the washing machine (for a little extra) which was really useful.

The rooms were essential but perfectly clean. Breakfast was good and there was a good choice. Not shared kitchen (odd in a hostel) but possibility to have dinner at a reasonable price (18e/adult, 10e/child) or to bring your food to be eaten in the garden. Cozy place to chill out in the garden. Possibility to rent bikes 12e/day.

“I was very happy with the stay at such a low cost.”
The location was good, within a walking distance from the city center of Den Burg. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Maybe things were not necessarily "super special" as a cheap hostel, but it was overall quite satisfying for the low cost!!
