Overview
Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam is located in the heart of the Vondelpark and offers a view on the green surroundings. The Van Gogh Museum is an 8-minute walk away. The accommodation includes free WiFi access throughout the whole building. The hostel offers bunk beds in shared dormitories as well as private rooms. All rooms/dorms have a bathroom and lockable cupboards. Guests can buy padlocks at the reception or bring their own. Coin operated lockers are available in the lobby at EUR 0.20 per hour or EUR 2 per 24 hours. Breakfast is available in the morning for a surcharge. At the end of a busy day, guests can relax and have a drink or snack in The 5TH . The lively Leidse Square is situated a 5-minute walk away and offers plenty of bars and restaurants. Trams 1, 12 at Leidse Square offer direct access to Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station. Guests can explore the surroundings by bicycle as Stayokay Vondelpark provides a rental service.

“Grat stay, great location.”
Excellent quiet location. 20 min walk to the centre. Restaurants and shops are close. Bus stop for a bus to the airport is just down the road, 2 min of walking. Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. 👍🏼

“Amazing stay !”
The property is right in the middle of all the cool places, I enjoyed my time walking to and thru vondelpark to the hostel . I loved staying on the top floor of the school building , the bunk was quiet and even though i was near the door I didn’t feel disturbed by people coming and going. Something that i noted and was supremely impressed by was that the dorms were full of all ages , while checking in a whole school grade and many large parties of children kept coming and going and not once did it seem chaotic or loud . The staff were helpful and as a first time experience of a hostel this has set the bar really high . Dorm mates were super polite and everyone was very accommodating and friendly ! Loved my stay and i will be back !

“Decent place to stay, but not full value for money”
Easy check-in, quiet, great location by Vondelpark and near Museum Area. Premises are quite stripped, but OK and clean. Easy to get there.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, check-out is at 10:30 AM, so in the end you're using the bed for less than a full day.

The position. The "comfort room" was ok, high ceilings but not much floor space. The facilities on the ground floor make up for lack of seating and table in the room. E10.50 breakfast was good as they don't worry that everyone is making up picnics for lunch!

Beautiful building with amazing location for the museums. The interior was well-designed and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable enough and had a huge chest to safekeep our stuff under the beds.
