This design hostel Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Oost is 3 km away from the city centre. It shares its building with a cinema and theater and is situated in a former school in the Zeeburg district. You have easy access to Dam Square which is 3.6 km away. Free WiFi is available throughout the whole building. Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Oost offers spacious rooms and dormitories with a private bathroom. Some rooms and dormitories are wheelchair accessible. Please note that you can rent a towel at a small charge. Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Oost has a bar-brasserie, a buffet restaurant (subject to availability) and a summer terrace. In December 2018 the restaurant The 5th opened, serving quick bites and drinks. Guests can enjoy breakfast at the accommodation against a surcharge and also packed lunch service is available at a surcharge. Furthermore, there is a bike rental service, bike storage, a playground for kids and a laundry service. Please note that you need to bring your own towels. “Great 6nyts Amsterdam Oost, met nice roommates from other countries&went out together2explore city.”
I didn’t try the breakfast, but enjoyed lovely good barista made lattes which were warm & cup filled properly without too much foam, excellent. I loved the bitterballen & cheese sticks. I liked the location.

Location is really good, the comfort room was specious and warm. The beds were okay for a few night stay and they have Mel’s that you can pay for the same day you plan to have those meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

The rooms were nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good privacy from the bunks and lighting for those arriving late at night.
