Experience a charming stay in the characteristic Hotel New York in Rotterdam. This former head office of the Holland America line offers skyline views and authentic decorations. The hotel rooms are unique in their shape and colours. All rooms have high ceilings and are spacious. There is air conditioning and free Wi-FI available. On the ground floor, you can find the café-restaurant. Eat à la carte, a simple meal or a lovely extensive dinner. Choose whatever you like from morning till evening. There is a second restaurant- and cocktail bar in the souterrain, named NY Basement. For your convenience, you can find a book and gift shop at Hotel New York. When weather is nice, sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the warmth of the sun and the views on the water. From Hotel New York, you can see the Rotterdam skyline, the harbor and the river.

“Fab spot for enjoying Rotterdam”
Fantastic historic building in the centre of Rotterdam, converted to a really comfortable hotel. Fab room with floor to ceiling windows directly overlooking the water, we sat and watched all the boats for a long time Great bathroom and restaurant. The staff were very helpful storing our bikes inside.

“Great building in a good spot especially to visit the Fenix Museum”
A wonderful old building full of historic details on the waterfront. The rooms are nicely appointed and huge with high ceilings. Some have a view of the water.

“Mixed, but overall positive and would stay there again”
1. It'a a lovely hotel, in a very nice location, very handy to trams and water taxis. 2. The building is historic and very interesting. Do take the time to explore, especially the lovely staircase. 3. The staff made an excellent recovery from an initial failure to takes steps they had been notified of, and agreed to, at booking time. 4. They were mostly all young and very eager.

Breakfast was the only disappointing aspect. The coffee was undrinkable and the choice of foods was not brilliant.
