Overview
Hotel Grand Canal is quietly situated in the centre of Delft and yet 150 meters away from Delft’s Central Station, which offers many public transport facilities. All rooms have a homey setting and a view of the canals. You can enjoy an extensive breakfast in the breakfast room before exploring this historic city. This former canal house used to be the city’s prison and even earlier, the storage place for the V.O.C. At 50 metres from the hotel, there is a parking area. Hotel Grand Canal is situated close to the A4 and A13 to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Hague. Leiden is a 30 minute drive away.

I was off the main site, in the annex. It was okay, the walk there from reception wasn't that far and quite nice along the canal. The room was big and clean and felt modern. The reception staff were helpful.

“Atmospheric historic house with very nice stuff”
The location is very central, only 5 minutes from the train station but already part of the old town at a canal. Staff was lovely and very friendly and helpful.

“Excellent location, lovely hotel, wonderful staf, highly recommended!”
The property itself is a charming old house in an excellent location. My room was lovely with a beautiful view of the canal. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I would have happily brought it and the view home! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was a real pleasure to visit and I will definitely come back.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient for visiting the city. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety and fresh products . Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

“Perfectly good, well situated, hotel but with room for improvement”
The hotel is a short walk from the railway station and not far from the town centre. It's a handy location. The room was a good size with all the facilities you need and had a canal view. No traffic noise. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
