“Fabulous hotel and staff. Excellent all round, and would definately stay here again.”
Beautiful location on a quiet street. Had a room with balcony and lovely view. Staff were so friendly and happy to help with suggestions and locations of places to visit. My wife even had a Happy birthday message and a small complimentary bottle of wine in arrival, a lovely gesture.

“A fantastic hotel in Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter”
A fantastic hotel located in Amsterdam’s beautiful Museum Quarter. Excellent transport links are right on the doorstep, with tram and bus connections providing easy access to both the airport and central Amsterdam. We travelled as a group of eight, staying across two rooms, which were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. It was our first visit to Amsterdam, it certainly won’t be our last and we will definitely be staying in Hotel Aalders.

“Well located and presented”
Perfectly situated for access to Museums and Canal boats. Older hotel very well presented by owners. Rooms are small, and stair access is limited. There is a small lift. Staff are welcoming and helpful and the “ Honour bar” is a nice touch. Breakfast is available at reasonable price as well. Beds are long, comfortable with good quality linen.

The Hotel Aalders was very friendly and comfortable with lovely staff. It was perfectly located for our 3 night visit to see the Amsterdam museums and has some great nearby restaurants and cafes. We were easily able to get to other areas of the city, including a boat trip.on the canals. The building is an artwork in itself - a spectacular Art Nouveau style townhouse, lovingly maintained and adapted to modern living. A great place to stay in a fascinating & friendly city.
