I liked the convenient location, which made it easy to attend our meetings, as well as the quiet atmosphere that allowed me to rest after long workdays. The restaurant was also very good, with generous portions and tasty food.

We tried to cancel our stay due to a broken leg. Booking.com was fine with it but the hotel said no so I had to take someone else with me last minute. We already communicated that we would be late for check in which was fine since we were visiting a festival nearby, I still got multiple phonecalls during the evening asking at what time we would arrive. Finally at the hotel we were greeted by a receptionist that made us feel everything but welcome. He even seemed a bit irritated that we were later for check in and kept telling us what a busy night he had and that he kept calling since someone wanted a room change, but since I couldn't pick up he fixed the problem himself. Arriving at our room at 3 am we immediately understood why someone wanted to switch rooms... It was RIGHT next to the elevator so everytime the elevator was used we were woken up by the most HORRIBLE noise which lasted until early in the morning until our check out. Other than that the room didn't have air-conditioning, but that's probably my own fault for not looking correctly. The bed was also pretty small. The two of us could lay down but there is no room to roll over. Also no free sockets near the bed, even though the booking.com ad said there would be. Everything combined made our stay pretty awful. We had to pay nearly €200 for that one night. While checking out the new receptionist was really kind but had no idea what to do or say so she 'compensated' with a bottle of wine. Save to say we're still not happy and will never stay in this hotel again.
