After a traumatic experience with another property, we were forced to enter the Carlton Square hotel for emergency help. We was greeted by a very friendly gentleman on reception. He was so kind at a time we really needed it. After realising we would not be going back yo our original property, we decided to book at the Carlton Square. I'm really glad that we did! I have never before witnessed how much care and attention a hotel can give its guests. CS put the customers experience as high priority. Every day there was a little treat for the guests, one day glass of wine in reception, another day we had Easter Eggs and on ine day we had little perfume/scent spray to take home! Amazing! The room was very spacious. The bathroom was lush. The bathroom mirror is very clever, it doesnt steam up! Food incredible and location was PERFECT! Bus access literally across the road. This is the best hotel I have stayed. Thank you, Carlton Square

Location. An easy five minute walk to the centre of Haarlem; the local bus service had a stop 100 metres from the hotel which provided an excellent service to and from the railway station. The only downside regarding our stay of four nights was the breakfast plates could have been hotter

Everything the staff were efficient and very friendly, the location was perfect need shops and restaurants, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable great value for your money.

Very comfortable accommodation and very friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was very good as were the bar staff when we asked for coffees. Good location near the town centre and next to Friedrikspark

“Work stopover, arrived late & left fairly early.”

Stayed for work purposes where other colleagues were. It was clean, comfortable and modern. Had kettle, tea/coffee etc in room but no milk. Breakfast was quite nice & covered fruit, yogurt, continental & the usual hot buffet.

Breakfast was quite good, during our 4 day stay there were 2 different chefs however it would have been nice to see one of the chefs(younger one)in cooking area to order fried eggs or omelettes, not off talking to female staff .

The hotel was lovely, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel had all the little extras, and was great value for money. The location was perfect and the hotel restaurant was also really nice and the staff were attentive. We stayed here over new years and the local fireworks were out of this world. Would definitely recommend and will be our go to place when staying in Haarlem.
