“Lovely 4 sunny days in Amsterdam”

lovely hotel with lots of areas to have a drink and relax, the library bar, the courtyard etc.... We also were able to get a room with a balcony facing the courtyard. Super quiet and relaxing! The location is great close to the museum quarter and the main park in Amsterdam. The staff were also superb and always ready to help. we loved our stay at ApolloFirst - wish we could have stayed for longer!

We booked two rooms: one for us and one for our daughters. Each room had two tables, a small refrigerator, and a safe. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, and a short walk took us to multiple cafes with great breakfasts and pastries.

Perfect location

Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Wonderfully comfortable beds and lovely ambience and decor throughout the hotel. Quiet and safe location - easy walk to Beethovenstraat where several trams are accessible and a selection of restaurants line the street. Supermarket and other shops also on the same street.

“Lovely experience!”

It was a lovely hotel. Good access to the museums, around 15 minutes' walk. Hotel staff was very supportive, so you don't need to worry about your stay.

I had the time of my life! My room was beautiful, neat. The hand soap smells divine, which I appreciated so much! The attentive staff was kind, warm, friendly, and really helpful. The aesthetic was majestic with amazing statues. I felt very welcomed and included every time. I am so excited to come back!

“Amazing hotel!”

We truly liked everything! All of the staff members were very kind, the room was clean and there was a terrace with a nice view of the hotel garden. We had booked the standard double room but they gave us a better room for free. They also wrote us a hand-written note wishing us a pleasant stay, accompanied with some complimentary chocolates, which was also unexpected and wonderful. We loved the location as well, it's a walking distance to the city center. They provided us with an option for a Q-Park parking spot for a more affordable price than parking in the street which we appreciated.

“Staff really friendly, nice little hotel”

Really nice quiet part of city / location (away from chaos of city centre but easily got to if needed, tram or est 45min walk) also close to train south, 20 min walk.

This is a gem of a hotel a little out of the way of the main hustle and bustle, but within easy walking distance / with a tram stop a 2min walk away that takes you anywhere you need to be in the city. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, knowledgeable or accommodating, and so friendly too. If I get back to Amsterdam, I’ll definitely plan on staying here again.

My wife and I loved our stay in Amsterdam at Apollo First Hotel. We were very well welcomed from the beginning, and all the staff were extremely kind, polite, and friendly. Since we were on our honeymoon, we received chocolates as a gift, which was a very nice and thoughtful surprise — and they were delicious! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet, so we could rest really well after long days of exploring the city. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were all exceptionally charming and helpful. The decor was attractive. It was in a very pleasant and quiet location, but near enough to shops, restaurants, trams, etc. An excellent breakfast.
