“Good economical place of you want somewhere to crash after the clubs”
Central location and really good price. I had another place just out of town but this place was a good spot in town to just re gather as I walked everywhere.

Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money

Don't forget that this is Tonga and not Europe, US or Australia. The room was spacious. I was alone in my 5 bed room but even with 5 people there would be enough space for luggage, etc. The location is very good. Check in starts in the morning, so if you arrive early, no need to wait.

Location. Booked a share room and ended up getting it all to myself both days. If the place isn’t busy, they won’t just cram everyone in one room, which is very thoughtful.

“Would not recommend this backpacker hostel to anyone, worst accom experience ever in so many ways”
Toilet didn't flush. From airport we went with taxi driver who had village backpackers sign, she charged 5 of us $40 each ($200 total). Charge back to airport with different taxi was $50 for everyone….we were ripped off. Didnt use shower because of the filthy muck on floor. Charged more than advertised price, terrible experience.

・The transfer from the airport to the hotel is 50 Tonga paanga. ・If it is 17:00 in the evening, the shower is hot water. At 8:00 a.m., the shower is water. ・I was happy that there was free mineral water. ・Sheets are changed every day. If you are a backpacker, you can sleep in the bed without any problem. ・The staff Ra (woman) is a good person
