“Comfortable overnight stay in a rural hamlet.”
We were met by the hostess, who is very helpful and gave us a few vegetable treats from their own garden. She also told us a bit about the local history of the small hamlet. The room was very clean and quiet.

“Secluded Gem”
Great location away from everything so if you want something when you arrive take it with you. You have full use of the kitchen as the meals referred to are no longer available. The very helpful hostess is trying to retire. Our room was large and spotlessly clean room.

“Friendly hosts in a typically authentic Spanish guesthouse”
Situated in the middle of the campo with a beautiful outlook and with very easy access to the motorway ( just don’t make the mistake that we made by coming off too early and having to drive 30minutes across winding roads and mountain tracks! ) We had a very warm welcome from our hosts who were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was a wonderful feast of home cooked local produce and game served to us with pride. A lovely Rioja came with it too! We enjoyed our stay and will visit again to experience the rural retreat again.

Off the beaten track but close to main routes. Delicious home cooked dinner ready if you wanted to eat there - recommended. Next time, will ensure we get there earlier and stay longer, to be able to wander up the 'peñas' for the day and explore the villages of the area

The location. The countryside was breathtaking and it is perfect for the Santander ferry. Also, the hosts are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The local food was great.

Tranquil rural location. Real Spanish rural experience. Local produce. Our host could not have been more helpful despite us not speaking Spanish. She showed us everything we needed and explained with Google anything we didnt understand.. Gave us a choice of rooms. We dined on venison and homemade vegetable soup. A great host.

the couple went out of their way in helping me even moved their car so l could park nearer, please find them plenty of custom they deserve to be busy, maybe advertise through britanny ferries as its a good stopping point when travelling i.e. 140 kms from santander

“Perfect despite our problem with booking.com thanks to the owners”
The young couple who run it did everything in their power to help us after they found booking.com had said we had a self-catering apartment and they only had hotel rooms. It is a lovely little hotel in a quiet village. Ideal for walking and also, perfect for a stop on the way to the ferry at Santander. We have complained to booking.com and hope the website can be corrected quickly so that they can make a success of their business. Good luck.
