Overview
ULocated in the district of Magdalena - Chachapoyas - 5 minutes from the Kuelap cable car, Nuevo Tingo, Peru. Utcubamba River Lodge has features a modern swimming pool and outdoor terraces. This Lodge serves a rich and delicious American and regional breakfast. Situated very close to the main tourist sites of Chachapoyas, such as the Gocta Waterfall, the Karajía sarcophagi, Macro, the Leymebamba Museum, and Revash Mausoleums. The rooms at Utcubamba River Lodge have bedding. They have a balcony and a private bathroom with hydromassage showers, some of our rooms have a bathtub, a minibar and free toiletries. In addition, the rooms enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, pool and gardens. Utcubamba River Lodge is surrounded by exuberant nature that houses a great variety of birds, flowers and medicinal plants, it also has direct access to the Utcubamba River, becoming a very quiet and relaxing place, we have agricultural areas where fruits and vegetables are grown organically and that are used as ingredients for our guests' lunches and dinners. We have a travel agency certified by the Ministry of Tourism, we organize transfers from Jaén airport, guided tours to Kuelap, Gocta, Karajía, Revash and Leymebamba Museum, for an additional cost. This property also offers free parking. This Lodge is a 45-minute drive from the center of Chachapoyas and a 1.30-hour drive from the Gocta Waterfall.

“Excellent comfy with good value for money base for Chachapoyas sites”
Perfect base to visit Chachapoyas, Kuelap, Revash and other sites in the surroundings. We had a big charming and comfy room in the first building, facing the mountain and more quiet than the more modern rooms in front of the swimming pool. Food menu is simple but tasty. There is only one restaurant in the vicinity, which also makes simple but good local food (and plays loud music!) ;)

“Wonderful place - comfortable and lovely service”
Communication with Janet was excellent before our arrival and she helped me with a couple of queries about the local sights. The young lady who runs the place was very welcoming and the room was absolutely beautiful in an old style with lots of space. The Wifi was average in the room but worked well on the terrace and the swimming pool was a bonus. The shower was superb!! Breakfast was good and all in all a great experience.

The rooms were amazing the bathrooms outstanding. We loved the design and confort of each aspect of the property. Bonus that's just over the road from the entrance to kuelap!
