“Fantastic location”
Maude was a fantastic host, she helped us book our tickets for Kuelap fortress, which I wasn't able to do online myself. A big bonus was getting to the cable car early and beating the tours from Chachpoyas.

“A unique place to stay to visit Amazonas”
I liked that EkoKuelap respected the round Chachapoyas style of houses in their design and that the owners used natural materials locally sourced. It gives the lodge a natural and warm feel. Totally unique in the area! I also like the common area with lovely fireplace. The evening was cool and the fire was really a lovely touch. The host Maud and Carlin are very welcoming, super helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The village is charming and it’s a great location to visit the main tourist attractions in the valley. I wish I had known before.

Mau and her family were very welcoming and kind. The property is relaxing and has a great interior design. Rooms were large and comfortable, perfect for a stay when visiting Kuelap.

Maud and Carlín are the best hosts. Their place is a little gem hidden away in the foothills of the Andes. You really should stay here for the night if you plan on visiting Kuelap. They welcome you into their hotel and family with open arms. My favourite hotel in the world!

“A good place to stay if you prefer to stay right by Keulap”
Beautiful decoration, good location (10 mins walk to cable car to Kuelap), very friendly owners, well-organised. They will arrange a light dinner if you reserve (necessary if you'll arrive late)
