“Great place to stay”

A lovely place to stay, we enjoyed the great views of the lake and the forest from the room. The food was delicious, and the attention was notable. We loved Bruno the dog and the incredible bird diversity of this place.

The location was beautiful and the breakfast was good. We also had dinner there and the jaeger schnitzel was absolutely delicious!!

Rob and Monika are just amazing people. This place is so nice and beautiful, we really loved to stay there. I would strongly recommend to everyone to stay there of you are around the Arenal area. We hope that we come back again.

“A little paradise in Costa Rica!”

Comfortable, nicely decorated, spacious room. The views from the balcony are great and although we were not very lucky with the weather, we really enjoyed our stay at Lucky Bug B&B. The hosts are really friendly and helpful.

Very beautifull place to relax away from noise and crowds. Amazing garden, just inside jungle. Very tasty breakfast, with Animals like tucans, hummingbirds and other birds, ducks, ...Friendly and nice host.Good place to visit lake, volcano , jungle and other.

“Relaxing”

The room was unique with lots of artistic touches. The grounds were beautiful with lots of birds. We enjoyed watching the bird feeder over breakfast where there was a flock of collered aracari (a type of toucan). The food and coffee were good and the breakfast area overlooks the pond. We arrived a day late due to problems with our flights and the hosts kindly did not charge us for the day we missed.

“cosy b&b with beautiful gardens”

lovely comfortable, cosy room with a huge bed and hot shower with very good pressure. the b&b is set in a stunning garden overlooking a small lake. good breakfast on a lovely terrace overlooking the garden and lake with lots of bird activity going on. the hosts were very welcoming. Rob gave really good recommendations for dinner.

Lovely setting, loved watching the humming birds whilst sitting on the Terrace, great breakfast every day, good recommendations from Rob on where to get a good dinner.

nice owner, great location of the rooms and the restaurant on top of the lake with great views and surrounded by a lovely garden which invites for strolling around the amazing fauna. Thanks & see you next time

“Quiet oasis boutique hotel”

Peaceful oasis and quiet - just natural sounds of birds and monkeys in the distance. We heard a cow too. Good coffee in the am. The hot water worked fine - you just need to turn it on full immediately to activate the heat on demand. Bonus tip: ask Rob to book you the Crazy Allan Night Walk - we saw so many creatures and it was worth it. See pic example from the walk.
