Food was excellent, especially dinner. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view. Location was great, good stopping point between Liberia and LaFortuna. We flew into Liberia mid afternoon and were able to get our rental sorted and arrive here before dinner.

The location/setting is phenomenal with stunning, panoramic views over the landscape & horses owned by the hotel owner. It was particularly cool to ride these very horses on the tour we booked. Felt a bit like a ranchero:) Love the arty decor of both the room & restaurant. Free pool table was a big bonus. The swimming pool at sunset is a must, even though it's a bit chilly. Kiki, Marie, Kevin, Luis & another lovely lady who served us at breakfast were all amazing, kind & thoughtful people that really took care of us, we're very grateful. The breakfast is simple but tasty. I highly recommend you try the Costa Rican hot chocolate! From our gorgeous honeymoon suite & on the grounds you could see many beautiful birds & nests. The room itself is exceptional. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced in a long time. The furnishings are beautiful & the jacuzzi is perfect. What's not to love? Only wish we'd stayed longer! P.S. extra thank yous to Kevin for his recommendations & to Luis & Kevin's mother (at La Soda Sofia) for helping take care of my husband when he fell ill.

“Nearly perfect”

Beautiful hotel with a great room – but breakfast needs a rethink! We stayed at Hotel La Mansion Inn at Laguna de Arenal and overall had a wonderful experience – with one notable exception. The room was absolutely stunning. High ceilings, a super comfortable bed, a private whirlpool and everything you could wish for. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The garden is a true paradise – lush, peaceful and full of wildlife. Waking up to tropical birds and animals roaming freely outside was simply magical. Dinner was outstanding – seriously impressive food that more than lived up to expectations. A real highlight of our stay.

The staff .. they were brilliant. The view. the rooms very beautiful and well designed. Lovely sitting area outside. Coffee machine in the room abd having so much space. Good supportive single beds...very clean. Fresh fruit drinks ..staff everywhere were superb

“The Jewel of Lake Arenal”

What a jewel. Looking out onto Lake Arenal was so peaceful and relaxing. Staff are pleasant and ernest to help in any situation. The pool and hot tub were well appreciated after hiking and climbing at other venues. Tried all breakfasts and all were delicious. Enjoyed having drinks on the outdoor patios. Beds were comfortable and the wall art made for an enchanting stay.Would highly recommend.

“Stunning views and fanastic staff”

Staff were fantastic and very professional. They paid great attention to details regarding customer care. The location was simply stunning. Overlooking the Arenal lake, it was the perfect place to spend some days during out trip. We were given a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated, and it had everything we need: a very comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, fridge and coffee machine. The room also had a little porch from we enjoyed the wonderful views of the lake and it was perfect to relax. The breakfast was very nice with different options included and they always offered fresh fruit. Additionally, they had a pool table which we really enjoyed, and a jacuzzi which was also very nice. Nearby there are quite a few nice places to eat. They also have a laundry service that works very well and is very reasonably priced.
