“Great stay in a great location”

Great location, very clean, and nice Onsen. It met all of our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Near the lift, service attitude is very friendly and good, near the bus station, clean, traditional room style, wide space

wonderful stay at this clean and comfortable family-run guesthouse that exceeded our expectations. also tail end of the ski season so we mostly have the whole place to ourselves. the in-house onsen was great for kids who found water temperature at the onsens around town too high.

“Reminiscing the old days”

The location was good- approx. 10 minutes walk from the main bus stop, approx. 15 minutes walk to centre of town - all flat walking , no hills. Close enough to walk to ski lift or bus stop to gondola. Restaurants, bakery, ski hire and Post Office close by. Room 307 was a good size for 2 adults. Kitchenette down the hallway was great for self catering - fridge, one hot plate, kettle, cutlery, plates, cups, cooking utensils. Onsens close by. Good shower room. The price of our accommodation was good compared to Nozawa Onsen prices nowadays. Host was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, not central to the town but a decent walking distance, a doable walk to the ski lift, standard and welcoming Japanese guest house.

Clean and quiet, had everything I needed. Great location near to ski rentals and the Karasawa lift. Especially thankful to the staff for helping me to contact the shinkansen staff to retrieve a lost bag despite the language barrier. The breakfast, though at extra cost, was delicious and nutritious.

We arrived early (9am) so we could enjoy the last of the forecast snow. Unfortunately my partner had become quite unwell - although we couldn't check in (no vacant/clean rooms) the owners went out of their way to make a warm, private place for my partner to rest - while I snowboarded 😁. Also, loved the authentic family feel - the grand kids even had play time in the lobby which was such a joy to hear.

Lovely family owned place, very clean. Japanese breakfast was excellent. Futon bed was comfortable. Drying room very good. Literally a 2 minute walk from a ski lift which connects you to all the main lifts. We loved it and would go back.

Great location and accommodation for skiing in Nozawa! Less than 5 mins walk to the nearest lift. The place has all needed facilities to keep your ski trip enjoyable (ski/snowboard storage, drying room). Breakfast was really good and filling as well. Bathroom even has small onsen if you don't want to go to the bigger public onsen 100m away. All in all, great accommodation and will definitely come back if we will have another chance to visit Nozawa.

“Friendly family run guest house, great value for money, close to ski lift”

Wonderful family-run guest house close to a ski lift and ski rentals. It's a bit out of the main section of town, but that means it is lovely and quiet. It is located next to one of the largest public onsens. We got the deluxe breakfast every day, and it was great, no complaints! Also had their shabu shabu/hot pot one evening, which was very generous in size and delicious. The service was good, and they helped us answer many questions.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The owner and staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast served every day was delicious. The location is also fantastic: about a 15-minute walk to onsen street, and only a 4-minute walk to Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort Lift No. 19 (which is amazing).
