Overview

“True luxury in Nozawa Onsen.”
I was really impressed with the size of the property and the small creature comforts like the pellet fireplace, board games, parachute coffee, and fully equipped kitchen.

Breakfast was great. Staff were lovely and showed us all the popular locations such as onsens and the ski slopes we could use. Rooms were very clean and modern with all amenities you could need.

We had a pleasant stay at the Tanuki Nozawa hotel which is very new and modern - beautifully done. The breakfast that is served in the cafe downstairs was really good!

“Great hotel”
Very nice hotel, right in the centre of Nozawa Onsen, with access from the main square. The facilities of our block were very new, everything was clean and the staff was very nice. We highly recommend it.

The stay was incredible. Such a nice place in the middle of town / food area. The design and aesthetics were beautiful as well as the room being very comfortable and practical. This village was our favourite place of our Japan trip

Fabulous toilet. 😄 Clean, modern room, great layout. Neighbours upstairs were noisy. I imagine during peak season you may need to pack earplugs. Plenty of room for a family. Lovely staff.

“Pack light for a great stay, great location, clean and wonderful staff.”
We loved the location to the village, the room was small with limited storage space for a family of four, but great for two. We loved the staff, cleanliness and little touches.
