Just 100 metres from Nozawa Onsen Hot Spring Street, Shirakaba offers traditional Japanese-style rooms with a tatami-mat floor, futon bedding and an en suite bathroom. Located 800 metres from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, the hotel is a 20-minute drive from JR Togari Nozawa Onsen Train Station. Free parking is provided with an advance reservation. The hotel sells ski passes and provides a drying room for ski equipment. Guests can receive a 30% discount on ski rentals from the on-site shop. Only 3 min walk from Chuo bus terminal on arrival in Nozawa. 10 mins to the slopes. The 2 bedroom unit was warm cosy and clean. Pyjama's available to use and towels for onsens. Loved the Japanese neat and tidy aesthetic.

Amazing location! Great staff, very helpful with navigating our first trip to the snow. Room was clean and comfy beds with a modern feel to the room (including the refa hairdryer). However still very traditional. Great family run business! Breakfast was excellent, plus the private onsen was the perfect way to finish your day after being on the slopes.

Incredibly helpful and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. Perfect central location. Clean. Good toiletries. Comfy beds. Warm rooms. Modern fittings. Yummy traditional breakfast. Scenic walk up to the travelator to get to the ski fields - right past a beautiful shrine.

Beautiful sized room, very clean, breakfast was lovely and staff very nice. Not a far walk to ski slopes. Close to alot of eating places. We loved how central it was. Lovely atmosphere and very authentic.

“Lovely room and friendly staff - great location”
Small boutique hotel - beds and pillows best ever. Large room. Own Onsen although small - had to ourselves so was great. Close to bus terminal and easy walk to places to eat. Nice Japanese breakfast - lots of choice - plus croissants.

The breakfasts were a great start to the day. Location was extremely handy to the town and a short walk to the Yu Road to access the Hikage ski area. Helpful staff. They provided discounted ski passes and rentals. The snowy view from our room was amazing
