Overview
Centrally located in the Nozawa Onsen Hot Springs area, Oyado Nozawaya offers a Japanese-style accommodation and an indoor hot spring bath. Guests can walk to the nearby hot springs, as well as the Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, which is conveniently located a 15-minute walk away. The Nozawa Onsen Chuo Bus Terminal is a 3-minute stroll away. Room features tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, with a seating area. Rooms are equipped with a TV, safety deposit box and a hot water pot. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and is free of charge. Nozawaya Oyado provides air conditioning/heating, free ski storage and luggage storage. Japanese-style breakfast, featuring home-grown rice and vegetables, is served in the dining area. Nozawa Onsen’s 13 hot springs can be accessed within a 3-minute walk from the property. Breakfast and dinner are served at an additional charge if requested a day in advance.

Excellent host. Superb hospitality with most sincere top service that makes you immediately felt welcome. Host was so friendly and helpful with restaurant bookings, car parking and showing the way around the ski slopes. Location was superb, just off the Main Street, so it’s quiet yet highly accessible. Rooms were most comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. We’ll be back!

The owner was exceptionally friendly and served a fantastic home cooked (and partly home grown) Japanese breakfast the next morning. The room was Japanese style and very comfortable. There was an onsen (free to use!) in the basement

Very central and convenient location, for either side of the mountain. Great rooms with shared bathroom (Onsen) on lower level. Also an easy walk to bus station for returning to Iiyama train station.

Lovely family run accommodation, very welcoming and always available. Onsens were perfect and I was almost always the only one in there. The breakfast was divine and we wish we had managed to have a dinner there also. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat!

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Taking us to the ski slopes when we were late for our lesson, and providing us with ski lift discounts and advice for the best restaurants. They were always there to help, and were so gracious.

The hospitality here is truly exceptional; the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, and despite the language barrier, their kindness and genuine care made me feel right at home. They even went out of their way to let us take a shower after we had already checked out, which made our final day in Nozawa so much more comfortable. I’ll definitely choose to stay here again whenever I'm back in Nozawa Onsen!

Everything was fabulous. Loved this traditional guesthouse and even cried over breakfast it was so beautiful. Great location, close to 'eat' street, a public onsen and only a short walk to the gondola. Had my own toilet and vanity which was a great bonus. The host family couldn't have been more welcoming. Thank you 'Yasu' and his lovely family. All the best for the rest of the snow season and your farming in Summer.
