Overview
Fujiyoshi offers free Wi-Fi throughout and has a completely non-smoking environment. Located a 15-minute drive from Lake Hokuryu, this 7-room inn is decorated with homemade crafts and has a hot public bath and a barbecue facility. Parking is free. The property is located right in front of the main venue used for the Dosojin Fire Festival. Both Japanese- and Western-style rooms are available at Fujiyoshi Inn, all with air conditioning, slippers and a TV. Some rooms have a private toilet, and all rooms have shared bathrooms. Guests in the Japanese-style room sleep on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in futon bedding. The inn is a 20-minute drive from JR Togari-Nozawa-Onsen Train Station, Kosuge Shrine and Nanohana Park. It is located in the Nozawa Onsen hot-spring area, an 80-minute bus ride from Nagano Station. There is a coin launderette, and both skis and luggage can be stored on site. Canoeing can be enjoyed at the nearby lake, and the area has hiking trails. Massages are available at a surcharge. A set-menu Japanese breakfast is available for an extra fee, and must be reserved at time of booking.

I loved the location and friendly service. The lodge is located approx. 20 meters from the free ski shuttle bus stop that takes you to Nozawa Ski Resort. We also loved how clean and quiet the rooms were. We would stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Fujiyoshi! Great location with bus stop for free shuttle up to mountain right outside. The ski/drying room was very handy as well for storing everything at the end of the day. The host was super helpful in arranging bag transfers for us as well.

The host is so lovely! Highly recommend ordering the Japanese breakfast - it was so delicious and you will have a full tummy before heading up the mountain! Order before midday for the next day! Beds were so comfy and had the best sleep. We had the most amazing view from our room! Rooms were a good size so fit luggage as well. Only a short uphill walk into town, down on the way back :) so many amazing places to eat in town too with a tap house at the end of the street. Bus stop just outside to take you to the mountain as well, can leave snow gear at the hire shop so didn’t need to bring back either.

Gorgeous little guest house. Comfortable futon beds in each room. Very short walk to centre of town & restaurants. Shared easy rooms on each floor, shower & hot bath on lower level. Equipment drying room on lower level for all ski/board equipment. Staff were so lovely & kind.

“Warm homestay in Nozawa Onsen”
We loved our stay here. Location was great, room was equipped with a heater, even though there was a lot of snow we were warm and well cared for. Hot bath and ski room were also very nice. Very close to onsen, ski rental and skibus.

We loved staying at Fujiyoshi. The warm snow gear room beneath was awesome, and we loved the ‘free corner’ where we enjoyed a delicious apple! The artwork, handmade quilts and old photographs really made it.

“Wonderful accommodation in a great location”
Beautifully appointed Japanese tatami rooms, with private toilet and traditional onsen bathing experience. While it was fully booked, we only saw or heard other guests in the ski drying room. Overall, a lovely experience.
