Really helpful staff who could provide all manner of other services (shuttle to train station, shuttle to snow monkey park etc). VERY spacious and great location, close to the centre of town and to the gondola for skiing.

“Spacious Japanese apartment near gondola and main street”
Really spacious apartment, that used to be living quarters for the owners of the lodge it seems, it was Japanese style with some western style rooms and slightly dated. But it has its charm and was great for two families for a ski trip. We could use the bath / onsen of the lodge which was great. Kitchen is well equipped and had a dishwasher too. There was also a room that could be used as dry room for all the wet ski clothes. The staff was kind, they were ready to help whenever we asked. The location is perfect for Nagasaka Gondola and for the main street of Nozawaonsen. We could even park our car here, but hardly ever needed it. I would surely consider coming here again.

A short walk to the Nagasaka Gondola and Onsen close by also, short walk into the village. Staff super friendly and helpful.

“Perfect !”
The property is very central to the ski lift & restaurants. Staff were all very friendly & super helpful with any of our requests before & during our stay . We arranged before hand for collection from Iiyama Railway Station which was a big bonus to have 2 friendly faces greet us there - with our heavy bags (at a nominal fee) . The house is BIg - lots of space ! Bath tub (with jets) and shower were great after a day on the slopes . Kitchen well stocked . All in all - we really enjoyed our stay at Toemu Nozawa.

Spacious property with a very traditional feel! Great for families and large groups. We were very surprised of how big the property was. Beds and doonas were super comfortable and warm. Pick up and drop off service from Ilyama station was very convenient. Loved that brekkie was included and location was excellent!

“Love the cottage, we got fully charged ready for the ski in the morning!”
Love the mattress, pillow, and blanket, feels like sleeping in the cloud. Excellent bathtub for having a hot bath on freezy snowing nights. Best sleep during our travel in Japan. The cottage is spacious and quiet and has a little washer to clean your clothes.
