Property was clean, spacious and nice roof terrace .Owner was great, able to provide tours. airport pick ups and make lovely meals. The best host i’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend Transit Hostel .

The most hands-on owner I've ever witnessed. Samba is an awesome guy who goes out of his way to ensure his guests are comfortable. His passion and wealth of knowledge is another defining feature. Bathrooms are clean, rooms are spacious and the price is the cherry on the top.

Samba is an absolute legend. One of the kindest, most helpful and caring guy around. He really went out of his way to help me sort out all my things upon landing. He was always eager to give me tips and help out where he could! I would highly recommend staying here, will recommend this place to any traveler passing through Nouakchott! Also, there is a really good Malian restaurant nearby that serves a variety of delicious food for affordable prices!

“Comfortable stay and excepcional host”

Spacious room, protected with mosquito nets, and AC for the hot months, with a large private bathroom. The shower has hot water and good pressure, something that is not always the norm in Mauritania. Breakfast is included in the price, making it a very good deal. However, the real highlight is the host, Samba, who goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and has proven to be extremely helpful with any issues related to organizing your stay in Nouakchott and your next steps in Mauritania.

It was an oasis of relaxing in the middle of Nouakchott compared with the standards of the country. The owner Saba, it's. a very kind person who he ll help you with at everything you ll need. We re grateful to him.

Samba is very flexible, responsive, and helpful. He knows the where/what/when and will happily show you or come with you. Where to buy something, where to eat, do laundry, get a sim card, where to get a specific bus, taxi, etc. Super practical and saves a lot of time.
