“Uncomfortable”
The air conditioning worked well, and there was hot water (after waiting a while). The location is also not too bad, and the price is more on the reasonable side compared to others in Nouakchott. The breakfast is also better than some other places, but only consists of a baguette, omelette and Nescafé (pretty standard for Mauritania).

“Nice hotel where you enjoy staying (as opposed to suffering in some other places), good value.”
The location is quiet yet secure, easy to reach from the city centre. The staff was very helpful. Maleinine at the reception was great. When asked, he arranged a car with a knowledgeable driver, helped with luggage (I had a lot). The breakfast was good and nutritious, served promptly.

“Great clean, quiet,safe wonderful place near the Nouakchott city center”
Great place! Wonderful! Marvellous! One of my best places I ever stayed in Mauritania and Africa. Adama and Melainine are so much wonderful hosts and a very good, cute persons, friendly, helpful, and, they speak good english. The apartment is very clean and had all to offer, what I was needing. How nice! The internet wifi was strong and stabile. There are several supermarkets, restaurants, near the La Palma Hotel, and it‘s near the very interesting Nouakchott city center, very close to the beaches and port. I would definitely choose the La Palma Hotel again for my next stay in Nouakchott and I heartly recommend all travelers to stay there. Thanks a lot, Adama and Melainine, and, all the very best to you!

Staff was very helpful, they we're able to provide me a simcard and no problem to check in late morning. Room has AC so it's really appreciated in hot Mauritanian nights. Bed is also good, fridge in the room. I was satisfied as solo traveller

“Great staff”
The staff was exceptional and actually managed to pull the evaluation up from an initial rating of 5 to 9. They managed to help me out with all the stuff I needed around NKC and provide very useful information for traveling around and discovering the city. The breakfast is also pretty nice and somewhat filling.
