Expansive views across the midlands to the Drakensberg. Relaxed farm vibe, friendly dogs, curious cows. Beautiful rustic aesthetic in decor, artworks and furnishings.

Unit was comfortable and well equipped. Enjoyed the fireplace and the solitude.

The view was unbelievable! , super super Cosy cottage has everything you need ...lovely fire place, braai facilities, gas hob...shower was amazing! Woke up to beautiful cows just outside the window and the sun peaking through Hosts are lovely and friendly! Would definitely be back in the future If you're looking for a peaceful get away this is the one, and so much to do around the area if you're keen to drive and explore.

The view was phenomenal. Very cozy place with a lovely fireplace. We took a hike up to the top of the hill and enjoyed the endless views from up there. The cottage itself was quaint and comfortable.

The views from the property are breathtaking! We had very personal and friendly service from the owners and enjoyed sitting outside admiring the view.

We were looking for a private, mountain getaway to recoup and refresh and Rose Mountain Cottage delivered on every account, with far more than we could have expected. Michelle and Brendon were exceptionally hospitable - fast responses; warm and welcoming but respectful of privacy; and prideful in their magnificent property, going so far as to allow us to roam their farm, including their wedding venue, and enjoy the breathtaking views. We were treated to far more wood than we could use, peace of mind from loadshedding (their property is off the grid), fresh herbs and just a very thoughtfully curated and furnished cottage. We will be recommending to all our friends and to-be-wedded acquaintances and we most certainly will be back.
