We loved the peace and tranquility. This is a perfect place to simply be and unwind. The sound of the river below is nature's lullaby, soothing one into a restful sleep. It rained during the night and once the sun rose, the mist rising up from the valley below was truly magical.

“Spectacular Otter's Den!”
Everything! The cottages are located in the most beautiful and peaceful setting, the fresh milk in fridge, rusks, flowers everywhere, beautifully folded and great quality towels.... I could go on and on.

I loved everything about the place. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the sound of the river early in the morning, the beautiful location, safety, and the friendliness of the staff. The space itself is warm, open, and private, and it truly offers a genuine sense of peace

Otters Den is a magical place! It is so peaceful, you can really unwind. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The view was spectacular!!! We even saw the otters! It is truly a stunning place!

“Exceptional!!”
We love staying here! I come down often to see one of my retired horses so the location is perfect. Christine really pays attention to detail! The 2 bed cottage is perfect for my mom and I as they are on separate ends of the cottage and each have their own bathrooms. The beds and pillows are an absolute dream! The only place I actually leave my pillows at home because they are just so amazing! Will definitely be back - many times!
