Love this place, my go for to place in the Midlands. It’s beautiful, clean, spacious rooms with a fireplace. Great location, short drive to MHS! Jo and her staff are very friendly and helpful.

“Lavender Trout and Toffee”
This is a very well run establishment. Easy access from the N3 but feels incredibly remote. Great walking and cycling routes on the property with a clean running stream and well looked after forests. Facilities are pretty comfortable and well appointed. A Special treat was Toffee a little Jack Russell willing to show off his party tricks for your amusement and several different types of farm animals. Jo was always in touch but never intrusive and we actually didn't meet her. This is a piece of paradise.

“Lavender Trout Farm - Gem in the Midlands”
The location was very easy to find. Check in process super simple and the room exceptionally neat and clean. The property is very tranquil and has activities available for children also. I loved the running route (trail run).

Location for us was excellent. We went as a family for the purposes of a family wedding at The Groves. Very comfortable and spacious and private.

“Great farm stay!”
Its a great place to stay with children with goats and ducks a pool and a play area. Jo was a fantastic host and communicated well the entire trip. Close to shops and restaurants.

“A lovely country retreat in beautiful surroundings.”
We stayed for one night as it was ideal location near to Nottingham road. The rooms are big and very comfortable with king size beds and lovely decor. It was peaceful and lovely nature walks. We went to Rawdons pub for meals 5 minutes away. Can highly recommend staying here.

“Too short to enjoy a lovely place. I am sure we will return.”
Room was really lovely. There are a few gorgeous friendly Jack Russells that just make it extra wonderful. The setting is quite extraordinary. The attention to detail was delightful.
